Our Story

BASED IN OGDEN UTAH

We are loacted in the heart of swan country and swan hunting.

In 2014, Rich and two of his buddies, Hunter and Trapper, were invited to take a few hunters out who had drawn swan tags in Northern Utah. That day, they set out and successfully harvested all three birds. Watching those massive white swans work the decoy spread lit a spark in Rich — a growing passion to pursue swans more and more. Seeing others take their first swan was an unforgettable experience, and being part of those moments quickly became something special.

Year after year, Rich and his friends returned to the marsh, dedicating more time to swan hunting than any other type of waterfowl.

By 2024, Rich and his wife, Brittany, decided it was time to build a community for swan hunting enthusiasts. They started a Facebook group, designed a standout logo, and launched Tundra Takers — a place to celebrate Utah’s swan hunting culture.

Swan hunting is truly unique, permitted in only nine states across the U.S. Tundra Takers is dedicated to providing a space to share your hunting memories, as well as offering swan calls made by master call makers Dave Jackson and Derek Jackson, apparel, and merchandise that showcase the tradition in a positive light.

We’re grateful to everyone who has supported Tundra Takers from day one — here’s to many more hunts and memories ahead!
